Practicing one's faith in the middle of a large university can be difficult. VolCatholic — the Catholic Student Group on Campus — the Focus Missionaries and the staff at St. John XXIII Catholic Center work together to provide a place for students to explore the Catholic Faith, foster a love of God and a deepening of one's spiritual life. We provide educational opportunities in an open environment, rooted in the Catholic Tradition. We try to manifest our Christian faith through Social Justice and compassionate works of mercy.
All students are welcome, of any religious background. We respect and work with people of other faiths to further our common goals.
The VolCatholic Student Group meets on Wednesdays at 7 PM during the school year. Most communication is through GroupMe. Click on the button below to join our group. If you are a new student please sign up and let us know how we can help. And also check out our social media presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram through the links above.
We also have several other groups, Focus Missionaries, two undergraduate Women's Groups (Zion and Daughters of Isabella), an undergraduate Men's Group (Frassati), as well as a students-only Knights of Columbus Group and a Graduate Student and Young Professionals Group.
